The World of Concrete is an annual trade show for the commercial construction industry. It is held each year either in the months of January or February for four days in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event is a show where products, resources, and information related to concrete construction are shared and displayed.
The WOC provides an opportunity for our company to identify and pursue tools and equipment needed in our industry. Our operation departments in both NorCal and SoCal discuss which type of equipment and technology are in need to help make our projects more efficient and in some cases safer. Leading up to the trade show there’s a list that’s generated and from that list we have the items that we prioritize once at the WOC.
This year the attendees where John Trenev, Abraham Parra, Justin Temple, and Ruben Rios. The WOC is a massive trade show and it’s nearly impossible to make it to every booth. We stuck to our game plan and went to the booth that was identified ahead of time and met with vendors and salespersons that helped us attain all the information and pricing that we needed to make our purchases. At the end of the day, it was well worth the trip because we were able to get everything on our list.
