The digital board has been one of the major changes made in the office since this pandemic started. Due to the pandemic, we have changed the way we work, including our meetings. Quite frankly, I am not sure how we would’ve been able to go through the jobs in our weekly operation meetings without the digital board. It has been extremely efficient in the way that we just have to share the screen and the board is accessible to everyone. The board has not only become more accessible for our operations department, but also for sales. As most of you are aware, I email a copy of the board every day, and this makes it accessible to everyone. The superintendents can easily view the names of the foremen and laborers they have at their jobs and see the changes made daily. The estimators can see the crews as well and track the man days that have been used by the superintendents daily. Overall, the digital board has been one of the few positive changes that have resulted because of this pandemic, and it is something that has changed the way we schedule personnel.
