The Arbol Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facility in Santa Rosa underwent a multi-phased, tenant improvement project to upgrade the resident’s rooms, employee offices, and common areas. The facility was fully occupied throughout the project duration, so we had to carefully perform our demolition to prevent any disturbances to the elderly residents. Our scope of work on the first floor included the removal of flooring, walls, ceilings, and a large fireplace in the reception area, employee offices, common areas. The third floor scope was to fully gut select resident rooms and demolish demising walls to allow more space per room for the build back. In order to minimize the disruptions to the residents and due to restrictions on elevator usage, we utilized exterior window that had been removed to safely loadout the debris from the 3rd floor into a dumping bin attached to a gradall.
