United Contractors put on an amazing Golf event in Monterey California in September. The morning started cold and foggy, tables lined the walkway leading into the entrance with bags, snacks, golf tees, and many other small items for us to take with us on the course. When we entered the building, they had a buffet style breakfast set up. As breakfast begun so did networking between all the contractors there. You could see people on the putting range testing their skills and warming up for the tournament. Shortly after breakfast, the tournament took off and we were told the hole we started our game on. Throughout the course there were booths with different items being given away; food, drinks, games, or entertainment. The day flew by with great energy and good people. Rich, Lance, Ruben, and I all went home with a new pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, a fully belly and a great team building experience. Events like this help grow good connections within the organization as well as gives a great opportunity to network with companies within the same field of work.
