The scope of this project was to remove the asbestos coating from the exterior of the Cal Memorial Stadium during the upgrade completed in 2012. The work required mockups and several revisions of means and methods to accomplish the finish required by the architects and historians. The work was done in conjunction with extensive seismic upgrades, and with the intent of preserving the architectural and historical profile of the original construction. The project was performed in multiple phases under a tight time frame.
