Bayview Environmental Services, founded in 1993, has experienced significant growth and positive changes since its humble beginnings in Richmond, CA. Initially operating from a small office and yard space, the company embarked on its first large project at 400 Post in San Francisco with a team of around 10 employees. Over time, Bayview relocated to Martinez, San Leandro, and finally settled in its current location in Oakland, CA.
During its early years, Bayview formed an association with Nor-Cal Scaffolding, Inc., which lasted for several years. Later on, the company acquired Demo Inc., which underwent a name change to Demo Masters and eventually evolved into its current name, Bayview Demolition. As Bayview progressed, it diversified its services by integrating different divisions such as demolition, hazmat, mold remediation, insulation, and industrial services.
Bayview also expanded its presence to Southern California, opening its first office in Santa Fe Springs. After several years, the company recently inaugurated a new location in Paramount. Additionally, Bayview’s growth as a company extended with the recent additions of Bluewater and Certified Blue Recycling.
Over the past three decades, Bayview’s owners and company funders, Rick Cleveland and Marvin Henderson, have played a pivotal role in driving positive changes and supporting the company’s growth, benefiting both the organization and its employees. Their dedication and integrity have fostered an environment of success, propelling Bayview into a thriving company employing approximately 500 individuals.
