The project work slated to be demolished was performed in a solids storage building, a sludge-dewatering building, and tunnels throughout the distribution structure. The scope of work required the removal of roofing tar and HVAC mastic, loose and peeling lead paint, and asbestos-containing pipe gaskets throughout both buildings and the connecting tunnels.
