Luis began working at Bayview as Personnel Director after completing his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Administrative Studies from UC Riverside. As Personnel Director, Luis developed a wide range of knowledge in personnel training certifications, construction management, union agreements, and processing payroll. In addition, Luis has experience fulfilling project specific requirements and efficiently distributing personnel, such as apprentices, local hires, and skilled and trained laborers, to the appropriate jobs. He has worked closely with City Build and other employment agencies to accommodate their workforce and assure Bayview is being compliant with local hire regulations. After three years of working as Personnel Director for the Northern California division, Luis has been transferred to the Southern California division and is currently working as Project Engineer. He is overseeing all project scheduling and is working closely with the Operations and Estimating departments to make sure the jobs are being completed safely and efficiently.
