Bio

Justin Valenzuela brings 7+ years of experience strategizing and leading cross functional programs to bring about fundamental improvements in process and work habits. With a background in environmental health and safety, he has a consistent record of designing and implementing best in class EHS compliance programs. Justin specializes in policy development, policy interpretation and implementation, as well as facilitation across multiple business functions and on-site advising on construction projects. In past roles, Justin has worked to implement the nation’s first commercial organics program (mandate AB 1826), and has worked to bring dozens of construction projects into consistent compliance throughout Northern and Central California.

Justin is responsible for implementing various EHS policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Conducting regular health and safety inspections at sites throughout Northern California, Justin is tasked with implementing continuous improvement and compliance assurance programs to ensure alignment with company EHS goals. He also is responsible for conducting incident investigations and analyses, and facilitating the many moving parts of pre-construction planning, and onsite execution.

Justin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from California State University, East Bay and has obtained a number of industry related certifications. He is also an active member of The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).
